GDPR – Set your own data retention period


We have taken GDPR a step further, because we care deeply about our users' privacy — giving you full control over how long different types of data are stored with us.


We have made several adaptations to comply with the GDPR regulation, which came into effect on 25 May. In addition to reviewing our internal processes and systems, we have introduced a new setting in the Self-Service Portal that allows customers to specify how long different types of data should be retained.


Since different organisations have different needs, and since it is those business needs that provide the legal basis for data processing, we leave this decision entirely up to you. Please bear in mind, however, that our monthly and weekly reports are based on the data held in the system. If you choose to delete data after 30 days, for example, the reports will only reflect the most recent 30 days.
