We've launched a new alarm-receiving centre application!

Earlier this month we released a brand new version of our alarm centre application. The previous version will remain available until the first of March 2023, giving you a few months to familiarise yourself with the new version and train any relevant staff. Watch the short video below for a walkthrough of how the new application works:

The overall layout remains largely the same:

• The first screen shows your active and handled alarms.
• Tap any alarm to enter the alarm view.
• Once inside an alarm, you will notice some visual changes.

What is new:

• The map view has moved to the right of the alarm information.
• The action plan has a refreshed design.
• The buttons for managing and closing alarms are now clearer and more prominent.
• Alarm type and priority are now colour coded for at-a-glance clarity.
• All activity within an alarm is logged automatically, including confirmed authorisation codes, when a timer starts and escalates to a live alarm, and when an alarm is closed.

Additional improvements in the new version:

• Add clickable quick comments to speed up alarm handling (contact us for setup assistance).
• View coordinates in an alternative map view.
• Call the alarm user directly via IP telephony using the new Call button.
• View indoor positioning from Cisco and MazeMap directly on the map.
