Cloud service updates
Today we have launched a new version of the Crystal Alarm cloud service. New features include the ability to have multiple configurations. You can now activate profiles to, among other things:
- Have a number of alarm users connected to a monitoring centre and
a number that only triggers internal alarms. - Choose to let some users access the safe return home feature, while other users do not need to see that function.
- Allow each department to have its own call-in number for supervisors, monitoring centres, or switchboards at specific offices.

Our Test Alarm Portal has been given a new design, and a quick link has also been added to our website to direct you to the right part of your system. Click here to see what it looks like. The Self-Service Portal has also received a major visual refresh with new icons and a reorganised side menu.
If the menu in your self-service portal does not include all of these options, it may be due to the settings configured on your account.
Crystal Button CB20 – 5,000 Units Sent with Zero Returns
Crystal Alarm announces that their new personal alarm, the Crystal Button CB20, has received a strong reception since launch — with nearly 5,000 units delivered and not a single return. The button has been designed for demanding environments such as industrial, healthcare, and logistics settings, offering a range of up to 400 metres, a five-year battery life, and an IP67 rating. The CB20 uses a proprietary communication protocol for greater reliability than standard Bluetooth, and can be integrated with the Crystal Alarm App, Wi-Fi positioning, and Cisco infrastructure.
