These rules apply when working alone

Working alone is permitted to a certain extent, but it naturally depends on what safety routines and tools are in place. If there is a reliable alarm system connected to, for example, a manager, colleague, or security company, then it is allowed. In that case, there also need to be clear procedures for handling incoming alerts so that help can reach the person in time.

The primary responsibility always lies with your manager, who is expected to take measures to prevent risks of accidents and ill health caused by threats and violence. Speak with your manager or your safety representative about what procedures are in place at your specific workplace so that you feel safe and informed.
